PRESIDENCY EVENT: The Role of Parliaments in Climate and Nature Policy

This event highlights the importance of legislatures worldwide in the scrutiny and delivery of national climate commitments and wider climate and nature policy. It will discuss how a range of legislatures have translated international commitments into domestic frameworks. The event will also provide a forum for parliamentarians to share best practice on scrutinising climate and nature policy and legislation, promoting accountability for government policy, and developing broader public engagement.
