A first-ever collaboration in the meetings, conferences, exhibitions industry to reach net zero. Representatives from some of the biggest companies in the industry, associations, small businesses and more will share why they join the Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge, prepared with the support of the UNFCCC secretariat.
The session will focus on the importance of integrating Short-Lived Climate Pollutants in the implementation of the Paris Agreement and SDGs. In particular, the phasedown of black carbon and reducing methane by 45% to stay on a safe path to achieving 1.5⁰C.
