The ceremonial opening will be presided over by Her Excellency Ms. Carolina Schmidt, President of COP 25 and will be attended by the President of the Government of Spain, His Excellency Mr. Pedro Sánchez, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, His Excellency Mr. António Guterres, the Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, Mr. Hoesung Lee, host country representatives and representatives of the United Nations.
